Notes on PDF submission

Is it made with the size you ordered?

Add bleed and make it with the crop mark.
For illustrators prior to CS4, create both sides, or in the case of a booklet, create each side in a separate file.

Is one-color print data created in grayscale?

At first glance it looks monochrome in RGB mode, but be aware that if you convert it to CMYK it will be 4 colors.
* In CMYK mode, there is no problem if only K (black) has color.

Are all fonts "embedded"?

You can check it with Adobe Acrobat Professional preflight.
If you do not have Professional, open the data with Adobe Peader, and you can also check it with "File" → "Properties" → "Font Panel".

When exporting to PDF format from Office software

Office data can be exported to PDF format for submission.

Notes on PDFs exported from Office

If the font is not embedded, the finished image may be significantly different because it is replaced with another font and printed. Please check the PDF for proofreading sufficiently.

When exporting to Mac "Quartz PDF Context"

If you convert data produced by Mac Office to PDF with "Quartz PDF Context", Problems such as "Some characters disappear even if all fonts are embedded" may occur.

Due to the function of PDF, even if we open the data, we do not know where the error is, so it is printed as complete data. Please note.

"Annotations" are not printed

The part using the annotation function is not reflected in printing. Please note that if you want to reprint, you will be responsible for it.
